After I moved to NYC in 2011, I became fascinated with the subway system. I've always been a map geek, so I decided as a side project to redesign the subway map. I was inpired be the Kick Map design, but wanted to create something more geographically accurate, and slightly more compact representation of the subway lines.
Now that I am no longer living in New York, I'm not really working on it anymore, although It is mostly complete. Note that this was completed in early 2012, and this map likely does not reflect the current state of the subway system.
